Ingrid
Rampersadsingh has stamped her name in
Toronto, Canada, as one of the most versatile announcers in Indian radio. She is the
signature voice of Hot Like Pepper Family Radio. Shes been called the "bambi of
the airwaves" for her genuine soft, intimate style and closeness to her listeners.
Ingrid has the natural gift to connect to all her listeners in a special way, making them
feel she is speaking directly to them. She brings a
new dimension to Hot Like Pepper Family Internet Radio - off-air, Ingrid is a
businesswoman who tackles her work with a verve and vigour that gives added energy and
direction. Ingrid has won the love and admiration of an entire community of
dedicated and loyal listeners.
Ingrid worked with Anand to develop Hot Like Pepper
bringing it from an idea to one of the best-loved cultural radio shows in Canada. Her
passion for broadcasting and connecting with people has earned her many commendations
including the prestigious Ethnic Broadcaster of the Year award. The United Way calls her a
"true neighbour" and many of our seniors know Ingrid just as "beti".

Akash
Mahajan was born in New Delhi where grew up, went to school and earned his
degree in marketing and commerce from Delhi University. He came to Canada in 2002 and
studied radio broadcasting, specializing in production, announcing, sales and marketing
and news. After an internship at Z103 he found the right opportunity and ADS Media Inc.,
the parent organization of Hot Like Pepper Family Internet Radio. Akash immediately became a member of the family with his creativity
and incredible wealth of information about the life and culture of his native India and
the cultural preferences of the young and upwardly mobile Indo-Canadian. |

Norm
Long is an experienced broadcaster who got his training at Humber
College. Hes also an accomplished singer and plays the piano (although the says he
doesnt consider himself a pianist). He was trained at the Royal Conservatory of
Music in jazz and the classics. Norm has worked for
several private broadcasting organizations in a wide range of areas. He brings a fresh
approach to the Hot Like Pepper family. "Its one of the most original
broadcasting formats going today," he says. "The Vibes are positive and the
music is exhilarating."

From the age of 14
playing at parties, DJ Corky D also known as
Kenerick Gabriel music has been his life. DJ Corky D mixed heritage of Indian and African
gives him the desire to promote his ethnicity. In
his twenties, he began mixing music for various radio stations and found immediate
success. His inspiration from Indian music came from listening to Kanchan. This popular DJ
has worked hard to achieve all the success that he is enjoying presently. Thus, many
consider DJ Corky D as the godfather of modern day Indian oriented DJs. |
