The West Indies closed the third day of the fifth and final test against England in Port of Spain Sunday trailing England (546 for 6 declared) by 197 runs with 6 wickets remaining. At stumps Chanderpaul and Nash had staged an encouraging recovering after captain Chris Gayle retired hurt with a torn right hamstrung with the score at 195 for 3.
